#ArchUncensored – The License Dilemma

March 23, 2016

The DC|AIA Emerging Architects Committee kicks of its Architecture Uncensored 2016 season with a discussion on the License Dilemma:

What is the value of licensure? What are the different paths we can take with an architecture degree? Can those who obtain licensure soon after graduation assume all the responsibilities of being an architect immediately? The path to licensure is always evolving, and emerging architects are continuously adapting to these changes. This discussion will explore these questions and provide perspectives from a diverse panel of professionals.

The panelists include:

  • Harry M. Falconer, Jr., AIA, NCARB, Dir. of Experience + Education at NCARB
  • Adam Schwartz, AIA, NCARB – Associate at HGA Architects and Engineers
  • Lee W. Waldrep, Ph.D – Professor, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign

Moderated by: Elizabeth Kinkel, Assoc. AIA

WHEN: March 23, 2016, 6.30–8.00pm
WHERE: RTKL, 2101 L Street NW, Suite 200, Washington, D.C. 20007
